Beef Bone Broth

The ultimate healthy snack or even healthy basis for hearty soups.
Serves: 8 - 10 Prep Time: 30 min & up to 48 hrs cooking time

Ingredients:

I kg
Grass fed beef bones with marrow if possible

Carrots, chopped

Celery stalks, chopped

Medium sliced onion with peel on
1 tsp
Sea salt
1 tsp
Whole peppercorns
1
Bay leave
2
Sprigs fresh thyme
5 - 6
Sprigs parsley
¼ cup
Apple cider vinegar
Filtered water to cover ingredients

Clove garlic, crushed

Method:

1. Place all ingredients in a crock-pot.
2. Add in water to cover the ingredients.
3. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce & simmer gently.
4. Simmer for 24-48 hours.
5. Remove from heat & allow the broth to cool down.
6. Discard solids & strain remainder in a bowl through a sieve.
7. Let stock cool to room temperature, cover & chill.
8. Use within a week or freeze up to 3 months.
